Valerie partners with executives to develop strategies for customer-facing and internal technology platforms, as well as operational transformations. Her technology-focused client engagements have spanned customer digital adoption strategy formulation, product requirements definition, user experience research and persona development, systems migration management, and data sourcing for report and dashboard creation. Her operations-focused client engagements have included complex process redesigns, strategic planning for subsidiary integrations, and organizational design for new or growing business functions. She takes a data-driven approach to strategic recommendations, enabled by her skills in SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.

She specializes in versatility—an oxymoron that allows her to excel at collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, act as the bridge between business and technical team members, and manage client engagements using Reference Point’s unique model that combines functional experts with strategic consultants.

A San Francisco native, Valerie moved to New York City to study Economics and Psychology at Columbia College at Columbia University. Outside of work, she loves her dog Lilo, business and technology podcasts, meditation, the ocean, and all things fitness.
